Assalamualaikum
It has come to our notice, that Dr. Imam Umer Ahmed Ilyasi has claimed that a new religion is going to be formed by uniting Islam, Christianity and Judaism. This news have been widely posted on all major news channels. However, it only shows the educational and analyzing standard of the so called Imam. According to his website, he claims to represent half a million Imams of India. While the reality is most of the Muslims consider him to be a Munafiq (the one who claims to be a Muslim, but in reality he works against Muslim). However, Muslims Forum doesn't judge someone, and our motive is always to present the truthful news and unite all Muslims.
Coming to the statement of new religion. We would like to mention that it is utter false news. He has misrepresented the purpose of Abrahimic Family House. It was established in 2023 Abu Dhabi, the purpose of this house is to encourage understanding of the religions and bring unity among the 3 religions. Which is an educational platform but nothing else. This house has Mosque, Church and Synagogue (Jews Prayer Service).

The three Houses of Worship - Eminence Ahmed El-Tayeb Mosque, St.Francis Church, and Moses Ben Maimon Synagogue – offer the opportunity for worshippers to participate in and learn about religious services, listen to holy scripture, and experience sacred rituals. Everyone is invited to learn about any of the three faiths.

We believe, Dr. Imam Umer Ahmed Ilyasi has issued this latest statement only to divert attention of Muslims in India. As Muslims have been calling him Munafiq because of his support to Waqf Bill.
